Proposal Would Redesign Main Street In West Norriton

PennDOT is asking for the public's input on the plan at an upcoming meeting.

WEST NORRITON, PA — Officials will hold a public meeting later this month to discuss proposed improvements to Main Street in West Norriton Township.

The proposal includes a four lane "road diet" configuration between Egypt Road and West Airy Street, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said.

The project would divide the current four lane roadway into two lanes for the westbound direction, one lane eastbound, and shared left-turn lane.
