MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — With the 2024 election now in the past, Montgomery County officials have launched a recycling program for old political campaign signs.

Cardboard and plastic bag signs will be accepted at yard sign drop off locations along with corrugated plastic signs and metal stands, which are more difficult materials to have recycled.

The signs cannot be recycled as part of the regular municipal curbside recycling program.
