The state's most visible Democratic leaders were in Montgomery County Sunday as Election Day nears.

COLLEGEVILLE, PA — The state's most visible Democratic leaders were in Montgomery County Sunday, as both Gov. Josh Shapiro and U.S. Sen. Bob Casey rallied supporters in the lead up to Election Day.
The pair of high profile candidates appeared at the IBEW Local 126, on 3455 Germantown Pike.
"It was great to be in Montgomery County today with Josh Shapiro to get out the vote," Casey said. "With less than a month to go, let’s win this together."

Shapiro is not up for election this cycle but Casey is facing a challenge from Republican Dave McCormick. Casey currently leads McCormick in the polls by about four points, according to an aggregate of polls from RealClearPolitics, and Cook Political Report classifies the race as "leaning Democratic."
This is despite other statewide races, including the battle between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, polling at dead even with just under a month to go to Election Day.

Casey and Shapiro were joined by numerous local and county leaders at the Sunday event in Collegeville, including Montgomery County Treasurer Jason Salus.
The event served as a "canvass launch" for supporters and volunteers who went door to door around the county following the gathering.
