Stormwater Management Work Planned On Upper Merion Roads

Severe weather events and flooding in recent months and years has spurred a new round of road work in Montgomery County.

UPPER MERION, PA — Several roads around the greater Philadelphia area will be under construction next week as part of an effort to improve stormwater management in the region.

Work will specifically target roads that have flooded in the numerous severe weather events of recent months and years.

In Upper Merion, Church Road will see one lane closed between S. Gulph Road and Henderson Road. The road will be restriped.

All road work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day from Monday, March 18, through Friday, March 22.

Delays are expected and motorists are asked to plan ahead and consider alternate routes.
