U.S. 202 To Be Restricted In Norristown Next Week

NORRISTOWN, PA — Sections of U.S. 202 will be restricted next week as milling and paving work gets underway in the area.

The work is part of the larger $55.2 million project to widen and reconstruct a 1.8 mile stretch of the road in Norristown, East Norriton, and Whitpain.

The coming lane restriction will be in place from 7 p.m. on Monday, May 20 to 6 a.m. on Friday, May 24.

The road will see one lane closed with intermittent traffic stoppages between Johnson Highway and Township Line Road.

Traffic is expected to be impacted, and drivers are advised to plan for longer travel times.
