Valley Forge Casino To Open New Comedy Club

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — As Valley Forge Casino continues its redesign and growth, it's adding a new feature to the variety of its entertainment menu: a comedy club.

The new venue, operated by the national Stress Factory Comedy Club, will open on Friday, July 11.

“Enhancing our live entertainment offerings is an essential part of the reimagined Valley Forge Casino Resort experience,” Martha Morales, Vice President and General Manager of Valley Forge Casino Resort, told Patch in a statement “Partnering with Stress Factory perfectly complements our ongoing transformation and underscores our commitment to providing memorable experiences to our customers.”

The grand opening show Friday will feature comedian Michael Colyar, an acclaimed comedian, actor, and entertainer from Chicago who has been in the business for decades.

The club will feature weekly shows that include "nationally recognized headliners" along with emerging performers and other special events, the casino said, though an exact lineup has not yet been released.

The club is located just below the newly renovated Stardust Tower, and features a bar, speciality menu, and comfort food like Bavarian pretzels, flatbreads, quesadillas, caprese paninis, and more.

Shows will be held on Fridays at 7 p.m. and on Saturdays at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

The news comes as the casino opened up its new "Valley Forge Food Hall" in late May with several new food and beverage amenities inside the resort.

Construction includes a redesign of all Stardust Tower hotel rooms and suites, the hotel lobby, and further restaurant additions. The new dining hall has four new fast-casual options, including American Grill, Peng Zu Express, Taqueria Buena, and Cafe Primo. Other future additions will include an "upscale" steakhouse, cigar lounge, a modernized and updated casino floor, and a quick service cafe with to-go options.
