West Elm Street To Shut Down Next Week In Norristown
A stretch of the roadway will be closed for days.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A portion of West Elm Street will be shut down in Norristown next week for several days as road work gets underway, municipal officials announced.
The closure will impact West Elm from Astor Street to Markley Street.
It will be in place from August 18 at 8 a.m. to August 24.

Crews will be completing street and grade crossing during that time.
The detour will take drivers over Haws and Markley streets to Marshall Street and back. A map of the impacted area is included below:
