Young King of Prussia Actor Makes Waves in “The Little Mermaid"

Garrett Heinerichs is currently performing on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, playing now through January 2, 2022.

Based on the beloved Hans Christian Andersen story and the classic film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is the hauntingly beautiful story of Ariel, who dreams of finding her own way in the world above the sea. Featuring unforgettable songs such as "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World," Disney’s The Little Mermaid promises to be one of the most spectacular productions ever staged at the Walnut!

Heinerichs is a 6th grader at Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School. In addition to performing, he studies music and dance at Conservatory of Music and Dance in Worcester and Music Training Center in Plymouth Meeting, respectively.

Though he has made his Walnut Street Theatre debut with Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Heinerichs is no stranger to the stage. He has performed in many other musicals, including Singin’ in the Rain and Frozen Jr.

Audiences can catch Garrett Heinerichs and the cast of Disney’s The Little Mermaid this holiday season, as they show audiences why “life is the bubbles under the sea!”
