2013 Primary Results: Opponents of Proposed School Closing Sweep Nominations for North Allegheny School Board
Two remaining incumbents will face each other for the fourth seat on the board.
Two newcomers, along with one incumbent, have won both party's nominations for seats on the North Allegheny School Board. All are backed by the group Save NA Schools, which is opposed to the proposed closing of Peebles Elementary School.
Tara Fisher and Scott Russel won both the Democratic and Republican nominations for North Allegheny School Director in Tuesday's primary election. Also winning nominations from both parties was incumbent Ralph J. Pagone.
Incumbent Daniel Hubert won the Democratic nomination, and will face fellow incumbent Thomas Schwartzmier, who won the Republican nomination.

In the only other contested race..
Roy Weigan, David Baldonieri, Charles Coltharp, and Victoria Laird-Pongrace won the Republican nomination for four seats on Bradford Woods Council.

Alisha Hipwell was the lone Democrat seeking the nomination.
