Bradford Woods Elementary Fifth Graders No. 1 in Pittsburgh Region
The rankings are based on the last three years of PSSA scores.

For the third year in a row, fifth graders at Bradford Woods Elementary were ranked number one among all fifth graders in western Pennsylvania public elementary schools, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.
The newspaper's rankings are based on students' scores on the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment, or PSSA, exam. They look at three years of scores, with the current year given the most weight.
Another North Allegheny Elementary school, Hosack, finished just outside the top ten at No. 11.

- Lincoln Elementary, Mt. Lebanon School District
- Fairview Elementary, Fox Chapel Area School District
- Fred. L. Aiken Elementary, Keystone Oaks School District
- Howe Elementary, Mt. Lebanon School District
- O'Hara Elementary, Fox Chapel Area School District
- Foster Elementary, Mt. Lebanon School District
- Hartwood Elementary, Fox Chapel Area School District
- Maxwell Elementary, Hempfield Area School District
- Mount Vernon Elementary, Elizabeth Forward School District
