1. Adult Tennis Teams Now Forming
Monday: Adult Women's Tennis Leagues and Teams now forming- we need you to compete for the National Championships! Have you been wanting to join a United States Tennis Association (USTA) team or Pittsburgh Tennis League (PTL)? We offer teams in many divisions and levels including 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 as well as Senior and Open divisions. Many PTL flights are also represented. Click here for more information.
2. Women's Business Network - Wexford Chapter
Tuesday: Chapter meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays to provide personal and professional resources to advance the presence of aspiring and successful businesswomen. Meeting agenda includes, self-marketing, a business presentation, table topic discussion and networking. Click here for more information.
3. AARP Tax Preparation Assistance Program
Tuesday: Northland Public Library, in cooperation with AARP, offers free tax preparation assistance for senior citizens and low-income residents. IRS trained volunteers will provide help with state and federal forms. Please bring all necessary paperwork to complete the forms. Click here for more information.

4. Borrowing Library eBook for a Kindle Device
Wednesday: This informative demonstration at Northland Public Library will take you through the process step-by-step for downloading library eBooks to your Kindle reader. We’ll answer all your questions after the demonstration. You do not need to bring your reader. Click here for more information.
5. Nickels for Northland
All week: Our local Whole Foods store in Wexford has generously included Northland Public Library in their Nickels for Nonprofits program from January 15 through April 15. When you bring your own reusable shopping bags, Whole Foods will give you the opportunity to have five cents per bag taken off your total sales, or offer you some “wooden nickels”. Please take the Wooden Nickels! Deposit them in the Northland box as you exit the store. The total collected will be donated in cash to the Northland Public Library Foundation for the support of the Library.
