Get Out and Vote: Primary Election is Tuesday

Here are some quick things you need to know about Tuesday's primary election.

• Not sure where to vote? Click here to search for your polling place in McCandless, Marshall Township, Bradford Woods, and Franklin Park. You can also view a sample ballot for the Republican and Democratic tickets.

• Not sure when to vote? The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.

• Remember the Voter ID Law? On Feb. 19, Commonwealth Court extended an injunction that prevents the law from being enforced during the May 21 primary election. So those voting in person on May 21 will be asked, but will not be required, to show an approved photo ID.

• Voting in person at a new polling place for the first time on May 21? You will be required to show approved forms of ID (either photo or non-photo). This is a requirement of the federal Help America Vote Act passed in 2004.
