When/Where: Saturday, May 4, starting at 9 a.m. at Northland Public Library

Why Go: Great deals on used books, all proceeds benefit the library.

Land and Lake Cleanup at North Park

When/Where: Starts at 11:45 a.m., Saturday May 4 at North Park Boat House

Why Go: We plan on removing litter from the lakes in water crafts and along the shorelines on foot. You will need to supply your own water craft, equipment and PFD. Note: Motors of any type are not permitted on North Park lakes without permission of the Park Director.

Admission: Free. 

 

North Hills Chorale Spring Concert

 When/Where: Saturday May 4 at 7 p.m. and Sunday May 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the Kearns Spirituality Center (adjacent to the campus of LaRoche College), 9000 Babcock Boulevard, McCandless Twp, PA 15237.

Why Go:  Listen to some great music.

Admission: Free

When/Where: Sunday, May 5, starting at 1 p.m. at Northland Public Library

Why Go: The bargains get better. Five a bag to the brim and pay just $5.

Admission: Free. 

 

Low Cost Vaccine Clinic

Where/When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday May 5 at  Larry’s Laundromutt,, 201 Ohio River Boulevard in Edgeworth. 

Why Go: Canine and feline vaccines include an $8 rabies vaccine and $15 to microchip your pet.
