McCandless Police To Collect Unwanted, Unused Prescription Drugs Today
Got prescription drugs left over from a forgotten ailment? Dispose of them safely today with McCandless Police during National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

McCandless Police will collect unused, unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, April 27 from people who no longer want or need them as part of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
People with prescription drugs they no longer want or need can dispose of the drugs safely by dropping them between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Northland Public Library, located at 300 Cumberland Road. Police will arrange for safe disposal of the unwanted drugs.
The local collection drive is part of the national Drug Take-Back Day organized across the country by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. The previous national Take-Back Day on September 29, 2012 collected 488,395 pounds (244 tons) of prescription medications from members of the public.
