National Weather Service Issues 'Red Flag' Fire Warning
The warning is in effect until 9 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Red Flag Warning until 9 p.m. Friday for a wide section of Western Pennsylvania, including the North Allegheny communities of McCandless, Marshall Township, Bradford Woods, and Franklin Park.
The Weather Service said a Red Flag Warning means that dangerous fire weather conditions exist because of the combination of gusty winds, low relative humidity, and dry fine fuels. Any fires that develop may quickly get out of control and become difficult to contain. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
