No Serious Injuries in Wexford Deck Collapse
McCandless Fire Marshal: Everyone was "very lucky."
Investigators are trying to determine what caused a portion of a wooden deck in the rear of 303 Highoaks Court in Wexford to collapse, in the midst of a party, Sunday evening.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 6:15 p.m.
Initial reports indicated as many as 12 people were standing on the deck, which is one story high, when the portion closest to the home collapsed.

"Everyone was very lucky," said McCandless Fire Marshal Dan Stack. "There were a lot of people on the deck when it gave way, amazingly, no serious injuries, just cuts and bruises."
Stack didn't want to speculate on the exact number of people on the deck at the time of the accident.
