North Allegheny No. 5 on Top-Performing Schools in PA

The North Allegheny School District is the No. 5 school in the state and the No. 3 in southwestern Pennsylvania, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times

Last year, North Allegheny ranked No. 6 statewide, and No. 3 in southwestern Pennsylvania. 

The newspaper develops the list based on three years of PSSA test scores in math, reading and science.

Here are this year's top five in southwestern Pennsylvania:

1. Upper St. Clair School District
2. Mount Lebanon School District
3. North Allegheny School District
4. Hampton Township School District
5. South Fayette Township School District
