North Allegheny Wide Receiver Chooses Pitt
Elijah Ziese received offers from West Virginia, Temple, Arizona and several Ivy League Schools.

North Allegheny star wide receiver Elijah Zeise tells the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review he intends to play football for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers.
Ziese received offers from West Virginia, Temple, Arizona and several Ivy League Schools, but chose Pitt because he will be allowed to play wide receiver, and Pitt Coach Paul Chryst wasn't too pushy.
“I kind of like the fact that they were really interested in me, but they didn't push too hard,” Zeise told the Trib. “I really want to play receiver, that's where I feel most comfortable.”
Zeise, 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, played only defensive back as a sophomore. Last year, he started putting points on the scoreboard, catching 23 passes for 677 yards, four touchdowns and an average of 29.4 yards per reception.
Ziese, who has a 3.7 grade-point average, said he plans to major in engineering or business at Pitt, the Trib reports.
