Recycling Bank Deposits Can Earn Discounts for Bradford Woods Residents

The free program, just unveiled, is offered by the North Hills Council of Governments and Waste Management.

The North Hills Council of Governments and Waste Management are launching  a new rewards-for-recycling program from Recyclebank®.

Residents of Bradford Woods BoroughRoss Township, Etna Borough, Hampton Township, Indiana Township, Millvale Borough, and O'Hara Township now have the opportunity to earn everyday savings while helping the environment and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Recyclebank is similar to a frequent flyer program; but instead members earn points for taking green actions. Residents earn Recyclebank Points each time a neighborhood’s recycling is collected and the weight of the collected material is converted to points. Those who are Recyclebank members will automatically receive their share of the points for their recycling efforts. There are other ways to earn points at www.recyclebank.com/wm.

Over the course of a year, an average household can earn hundreds of points that can be redeemed for special rewards, translating into real value — more than $165 annually.
