Traffic Alert: Resurfacing Work Begins Monday on Duncan Avenue in McCandless
Traffic will be restricted to single, alternating lanes.

PennDOT announced that work to improve Duncan Avenue, and a small portion of Ferguson Road, between Thompson Run Road and Babcock Boulevard in McCandless will begin Monday. (click on view larger map for extra location.)
The work includes milling and resurfacing the roadway and shoulders, base
repairs, drainage and guiderail upgrades, pavement markings and other minor
improvements. Â Overall work will last until August.
To allow the necessary work to occur, traffic will be restricted to a single alternating lane between Babcock Boulevard and Thompson Run Road weeknights from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The project is included in a $2.5 million contract with The Lane Construction Company of Pittsburgh for improvements on several roadways in Allegheny County.
