Wexford Tree Company Rescues Ross Family Trapped by Fallen Tree
The massive Oak blocked the family's driveway for several days.
Jim Capes had just returned from work last Wednesday, May 8, when a massive oak tree fell on his property, missing his house at 132 Reis Run Road in Ross Township, but blocking his driveway.
For days, Capes and his son did what they could to remove the branches and limbs, but they were no match for the larger parts of the tree.
His insurance company would not pay to remove the tree, and Capes could not afford the estimated $5,000 price tag. The tree had trapped his family, and was preventing him from getting back to work
