Clouds and Rain to Linger Through Midweek, Says NWS

The National Weather Service says the gray skies aren't going to clear up in Southampton until Wednesday.

• Monday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
