"May your homes be filled with light, love, and the joy of being together with family and friends," U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick said. "And may we pause in prayer and gratitude for those spending this holiday season working to keep our communities and country safe — our service members, first responders, medical professionals, and frontline workers—who sacrifice time with their loved ones so that we may gather together in peace. From my family to yours — Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!"
"I want to wish everyone in the 153rd legislative district a very happy and healthy holiday season," said State Rep. Ben Sanchez, who represents several eastern Montgomery County communities. "However you celebrate the season, may you find joy in the moments and peace to bring you into the New Year."
Holiday Displays
LightUp 394, Yardley
LightUp 394 returned for its 4th season in the Yardley area, offering a holiday walk-thru experience focused on joy, community, and giving back.
Created by Sheri and Chris Connolly, the walk-thru display has grown from a simple neighborhood light show into a full-immersive winter wonderland — one that delights families while supporting a mission close to the Connollys’ hearts.
Located at 394 Hidden Oaks Drive, LightUp394 welcomes thousands of visitors each season who come to enjoy the lights, visit Santa Claus, and experience the warm holiday spirit that has become a local tradition.
Since 2022, the couple has poured countless hours into building, designing, and expanding both their Christmas and Halloween displays. What began as a playful seasonal rivalry — Sheri championing Halloween, Chris devoted to Christmas — has blossomed into a shared passion project.
The display raises awareness and support for Team Foster, a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to military veterans in need at no cost to the veteran.
Sheri serves on Team Foster’s Advisory Council, a role inspired by a deeply personal loss — someone she loved died by suicide due to untreated PTSD. Each season, the display becomes a tribute and an opportunity to strengthen the community while honoring Veterans.
“Community is something that we simply need more of. And while we use social media to entertain and to promote what we are doing… the best part is the kids’ faces filled with nostalgic wonder. I hope Christmas lights will continue to create exactly this kind of delight,” she said.
