Construction Continues On 2nd Street Pike In Northampton

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Road construction continues this week on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton Township under a local safety improvement project.

A weekly lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 232 between Tanyard and Upper Holland Road for line striping and signage. The work is slated to begin on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and continue through Friday, Oct. 31 from 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
