"Christine’s life was stolen from her too soon, by tragedy," her obituary reads. "She was full of life and ambition. She lit up a room with her vibrant energy; her laugh was contagious, just like her huge heart. She cared for people and would go out of her way to help anyone. She was full of positive energy and was loved by all that came in contact with her."

Englehardt was vacationing in Miami Beach when she was found unconscious in her room at the Albion Hotel on March 18. She later died and police arrested two men from North Carolina.

Miami Beach Police say the men were caught on video escorting a woman who was having trouble walking to her room, then leaving less than 40 minutes later. They believe the men drugged her, sexually assaulted her, then stole her credit cards and cellphone.

A 2014 graduate of Council Rock North, Englehardt worked as an assistant manager at Jules Thin Crust, a pizza restaurant in Newtown. She was fluent in Spanish and aspired to be an interpreter, the obit says.

A fan of Disney and the Philadelphia Eagles, she enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore, exploring new places and playing basketball. She ran in the 2019 Love Half Marathon and other races.
