Milling, Repaving Work Continues On Second Street Pike In Northampton
The work is expected to continue through the rest of this week and possibly into next week, police said.

RICHBORO, PA — For all those who didn't believe it would happen, Second Street Pike is being milled and repaved.
The crews continue to be out in force milling and repaving the roadway between Bustleton Pike and Wrightstown Township while motorists make their way through an obstacle course of orange cones and PennDOT flaggers.
According to the Northampton Township Police Department, the project is expected to last through the rest of this week and possibly into next week with nightly work taking place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

"While the project is taking place during the overnight hours, please use caution while driving on Second Street Pike," police said. "For your safety and the safety of the road crew, please slow down and remain vigilant."
The milling and paving project also includes Worthington Mill Road between 2nd Street Pike and Swamp Road.

Under these resurfacing and improvement projects, PennDOT’s contractors are repairing, milling, and repaving state highways with new asphalt pavement that will seal roadways and provide motorists with a safer and smoother riding surface.
