Worthington Mill Road To Close In Northampton, Wrightstown
PennDOT announced today that the road will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 26. Read the details.

NORTHAMPTON, PA — Worthington Mill Road will close between Swamp Road and Route 232, also called Second Street Pike, on Wednesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 26, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Wednesday.
PennDOT said the road closure will serve bridge deck repair in Wrightstown and Northampton townships. The closed road will also impact Newtown drivers.
During the closure, which timing could be subject to change based on weather, drivers will be detoured to Swamp Road and Second Street Pike. Local access will be maintained along Worthington Mill Road up to the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time for travel near the work area, because backups and delays may occur.
