Anna Marie "Nancy" (Hergenroeder) Tongel

Anna Marie "Nancy" (Hergenroeder) Tongel, 95, of North Side, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011.
Born in Pittsburgh, Oct. 31, 1915, she is the daughter of the late Fredrick and Scholastica (Heeg) Hergenroeder. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Tongel.
She is also the mother of Nancy Tongel DeSousa of Kansas City, KS and James (Clare) Tongel of Lancaster, PA; grandmother of Julia (Ciro) Reis, Leah DeSousa, Matthew (Amy), Mark (Michelle) and Mike Tongel and four great-grandchildren; sister of the late Margaret Falsey and Joseph Hergenroeder.

Family will welcome friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the , Inc., 388 Center Ave., West View. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Boniface Church of Holy Wisdom Parish. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Nancy was a member of St. Boniface Over Fifty Club and L.C.B.A.
