'Artists In The Park' Community Day Coming Up In Ross Township
Art demonstrations, live music, food, face painting, a marionette show and more are all on the agenda for the celebration at Evergreen Park.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Ross Township's annual celebration of local artists and musicians is coming up next week, with activities and entertainment for the entire family.
Neighborhood Community Day is Saturday, July 23 from 3-9 p.m. at Evergreen Park (3430 Evergreen Road). Shuttle service will run from the parking lot at 3385 Babcock Road in Pittsburgh (ZIP Code 15237) those same hours.
The featured artists are Turner's Anonymous, who will do a wood turning demonstration; Dyed in the Wool, who will do a fleece to scarf demonstration, and the North Hills Art Center, who will be doing arts and crafts.

Live music from Jake Rubenstein, Michael Shideler, and Joe Pucciarelli runs from 4-8 p.m.
Performing artists will make balloons, do magic, craft airbrush tattoos, and present a marionette show, the township said.

There will also be family yard games, kids' games, and food: pizza, hot dogs, Kona Ice, drinks, treats, and some food trucks.
All are welcome to bring food, chairs, and blankets and enjoy the day.
