Candidates for Ward 3 in Ross to Debate at American Legion

The will hold a “Meet the Candidates Night” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, with the candidates for the Ward 3 seat on the Ross Township Commission. 

Incumbent Dan Kinross, a Democrat, and Republican challenger John Sponcer will answer questions from the audience. Both candidates are Legionnaire members of Post 80.

Ward 3 is one of three contested seats on the commission. In Ward 1, incumbent Dan DeMarco (D) is challenged by Ann Harold (R). In Ward 5, incumbent Grace Stanko (R) is challenged by William A. McKellar (D).

Commissioners Gerald R. O'Brien (D), of Ward 7, and Grant Montgomery (R), of Ward 9, are running unopposed for re-election.  

This event is open to the public. 

The Legion is located in the Laurel Gardens neighborhood at 172 6th Ave., West View.
