UPDATE: Flash Flood Warning Expires in Allegheny County
The warning was in effect until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a flash flood warning until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday for a large portion of the Pittsburgh region, including the North Hills and North Allegheny areas.
Forecasters say heavy rain capable of producing flash flooding can be expected from thunderstorms moving over the area.
Up to two inches of rain is possible Tuesday evening.

The weather service says excessive runoff will cause flooding of small streams, low lying spots on raods, and poor drainage areas.
