Flash Mob Breaks Out at McIntyre Elementary

The entire study body at the Ross Township school danced to a hit song by Black Eyed Peas.

Approximately 600 students and staff at McIntyre Elementary took part in a choreographed flash mob Wednesday at McIntyre Field. (see video)

Students in all grades, K-6, began learning the dance in February during physical education classes taught by the Victoria Hernandez and Kevin Lyons.

The teachers created the concept to build unity among students and staff and promote physical fitness regardless of age or ability level.

Wednesday, they took to the field, strutting their stuff to "I Gotta Feeling," by the Black Eyed Peas.
