Free Paper Shredding Event To Be Held In Ross
Need some documents shredded? Here's an upcoming chance to have it done for free in Ross.
ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — In an effort to prevent mounting cases of identify theft, a free shredding event will be held Aug. 24 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the township public works department.
Have any documents that you would like to dispose of safely? For this event, you don't even have to leave your car. Workers will take your papers and place them in the shredding truck.
You can bring up to two bankers' boxes of papers for shredding. A bankers box is about the size of a microwave.

Only paper will be accepted. All metal fasteners other than staples must be removed.
The event is being sponsored by state Sen. Lindsey Williams and state Rep. Emily Kinkead.
