Georgianna Dell fell in love with antiques while working as an international flight attendant with US Airways and British Air. Now retired from flying, she owns and operates Love Worn Antiques at 640 Center Avenue in West View.
"We are a consignment shop specializing in antiques, collectibles, furniture, you name it," she said.
Some of the items in her shop have historical significance.
"We have Thomas Edison phonograph and a smoking stand from President Franklin Roosevelt's mansion," she said. "We also have an amazing collection of 19th century glassware, a working television from the early 1950's and even an RCA radio from the 1940's."
Dell also offers customers a place to sell their own items each Saturday at a yard sale she hosts in the parking lot adjacent to her building. The cost is $15 a table.
Love Worn Antiques is open Tuesday through Sunday. Hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 11a.m. - 4 p.m. on Sundays.
