National Weather Service Issues Frost Advisory for North Hills Area

It's going to a be a chilly start to the Memorial Day weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for Ross Township and West View. 

The advisory will remain in effect from 3 to 8 a.m. Saturday as temperatures hover around 32 degrees.

Be sure to cover your sensitive plants and bring potted plants indoors.

Here's a more detailed look at the rest of the Memorial Day weekend forecast:

• Saturday: Areas of frost before 8 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 63. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph.
• Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 67. Light northwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
• Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43.
• Memorial Day: Sunny, with a high near 73.
