North Hills High School National Honor Society Inducts 57 New Members
The National Honor Society promotes recognition of students who excel in academics, character, leadership and service.

North Hills High School Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 57 new members during a special ceremony on April 25. The chapter now includes 156 members.

The National Honor Society is one of the most prestigious high school organizations in the country. It promotes recognition of students who excel in academics, character, leadership and service. Students must demonstrate all of these qualities to be eligible for NHS acceptance.

To become a member of North Hills chapter, students are deemed eligible by carrying a 3.85 QPA at the end of the first semester of their sophomore year. Eligible students submit an information sheet listing their activities of various natures and a faculty panel reviews each application.
Once in the NHS, must participate in six hours of National Honors Society service each year as well as maintain their QPA and adhere to the society’s high standards.
