North Hills Jr. High Welcomes New Assistant Principal

Ryan Yates has joined as its assistant principal in the school's A-K office. 

Yates is the former dean of students at Highlands High School, where he served in the position for two years. He also served as a health and physical education teacher in the Fort LeBoeuf School District for three years.  

“Mr. Yates' prior administrative experience positions him well for his new role as assistant principal at North Hills Junior High,” North Hills Superintendent Dr. Joseph Goodnack said. “He is a great addition to our leadership staff.” 

Yates earned a master of educational leadership and a bachelor of science degree in health and physical education from Edinboro University.   

He resides in Lower Burrell with his wife, Jessi. Yates succeeds Christian Lesnett, who recently accepted a similar position in the Peters Township School District.
