Warmer Weather is on the Way

A cold front is expected on Wednesday, but warmer temperatures are in the forecast toward the weekend.

Despite recent cooler temperatures, the National Weather Service expects to see a warm up on Tuesday, and again later this week in Ross and West View.

Forecasters say a cold front will come on Wednesday morning, bringing rain along with it. But beyond that, the weather is expected to get gradually warmer, reaching the near 70s by Sunday.

  • Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Southeast wind 8 to 11 mph.
  • Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. South wind 6 to 8 mph.
  • Wednesday: Showers likely, mainly between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 60. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.
  • Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67.
  • Sunday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
