Paper Bags Ok On Trash Day, Ross Township Says
Ross Township said Waste Management has agreed to collect residents' paper bags of trash or recycling if they set them out to the curb.
ROSS TWP., PA —Ross Township said Waste Management has agreed to collect residents' paper bags of trash or recycling if they set them out to the curb.
"After expressing our frustrations, Waste Management has informed the Township that they WILL now collect paper bags," the township said Thursday. "Please note that these bags will be included with the regular garbage that goes to the landfill. These bags are not being recycled or composted. Extremely heavy bags, or an excessive amount of bags, WILL NOT be collected."
