Ross Police To Collect Unwanted, Unused Prescription Drugs Today
Got prescription drugs left over from a forgotten ailment? Dispose of them safely today with Ross Township Police during National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.

Ross Township Police will collect unused, unwanted prescription drugs on Saturday, April 27 from people who no longer want or need them as part of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day.
People with prescription drugs they no longer want or need can dispose of the drugs safely by dropping them between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Highmark Store, 4885 McKnight Road in the McKnight Siebert Shopping center. Police will arrange for safe disposal of the unwanted drugs.
The local collection drive is part of the national Drug Take-Back Day organized across the country by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration. The previous national Take-Back Day on September 29, 2012 collected 488,395 pounds (244 tons) of prescription medications from members of the public.
