Ross Township Police Blotter: Vandals Damage Cars, Police Arrest Drunk Driver Slumped Over Steering Wheel

The following information was supplied by the Ross Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction. The blotter covers the time period Sept. 27 - Oct. 3.

Saturday, Oct. 1

A man, unreported age, was arrested for driving under the influence after he was found slumped over in the driver’s seat of a blue Dodge Neon with the vehicle in drive and the tires against the curb in the 5000 block of Babcock Blvd.

Thursday, Sept. 29

At about 2:30 p.m., a 55-year-old man reported vandalism to his car, parked along Ross Park Mall Drive.

An unidentified business along Highland Avenue reported a forced burglary sometime between 10:15 p.m. and 11:17 p.m. An unknown person damaged the door to the managers office. Nothing was reported missing.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

A 43-year-old man reported vandalism to his vehicle at about 9 p.m. The vehicle was parked along McIntrye Square Drive in the Olive Garden parking lot, where a rear tire was slashed.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

A 43-year-old man reported vandalism to his car, which was parked overnight on Enger Avenue.

A 14-year-old boy was reported missing in the area of Browns Lane. He was located later that evening without incident.
