Two Former Employees Sentenced for Ripping Off Ross Auto Dealership
William G. Balzer and Brian J. O'Malley both pleaded guilty earlier this year.

Allegheny County Common Pleas Court Judge David Cashman Monday sentenced two former employees of Mick's North Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge at 7670 McKnight Road for conspiring to sell thousands of dollars worth of car parts.
Former parts manager Brian J. O'Malley, 61, of Valencia and former parts salesman William Balzer, 62, of Shaler, were both sentenced to seven years probation and ordered to pay $340,000 in restitution.
O'Malley pleaded guilty in March to two counts of theft and one count of record tampering, according to court records. Balzer pleaded guilty to one count of receiving stolen property.
Michael Wolcott, owner of Mick’s, is taking a wait-and-see attitude with the sentence.
"At their age does it make sense to put them in prison?" he said. "And if they are in jail how do you get restitution? I guess if I get all my money then maybe it works. I don't think I will see all of it."
The missing parts were discovered during an annual inventory audit by an independent firm. Wolcott estimates the total loss at $400,000.
