Weather Continues To Hamper Sinkhole Repair In West View
It's not clear when Perry Highway in West View will reopen.

More than a week after forming, a sinkhole in the right-hand northbound lane of Perry Highway between West View Park Drive and Center Avenue, remains unfilled.
The road has been closed in both directions for more than a week as workers try to repair the connection between a drain pipe and a culvert below the sinkhole.
Workers were close to finishing their repairs Tuesday, but Mother Nature had other ideas.
Heavy rains Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, and more rain Thursday, have filled the drainpipe - making it impossible to work inside of it.
The rushing water is clearly audible from the manhole cover (see video).
So when can work resume and when will the road reopen? No one is willing to predict right now.
