West View Restaurant Reopens After Resolving Health Code Violation

Acting on a complaint, the Allegheny County health department recently ordered the closure of Long John Silver's restaurant at 807 West View Park Drive because of critical food safety violations, according to the health department web site .

Specifically, a floor drain in the kitchen backed up, allowing sewage onto the kitchen floor. The restaurant was ordered closed on April 4.

It reopened the next day, after a  subsequent inspection indicated the drain had been unclogged, and the entire area had been sanitized.
