Alex’s Lemonade Stand Raises Money for Skippack Child

Community members worked at an Alex’s Lemonade Stand on Sunday in Skippack Village to raise money for 9-year-old Lauren O’Malley of Skippack, who is suffering from childhood cancer.

The event, which featured lemonade and treats for purchase, as well as live music and other activities, was held at Green Wolf’s Village Barn Shoppes.

The Skippack Fire Company, which recently wrapped on of its engines in pink to raise awareness for cancer, was also on hand.
