Alleged Killer Withdrew From PVHS in February
Tristan Stahley, 16, accused of stabbing girlfriend Julianne Siller, 17, was not attending Perkiomen Valley High School at the time of the incident.
Skippack resident Tristan Stahley, 16, was not enrolled in Perkiomen Valley High School when he allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death on Saturday, according to the school district.
Stahley's family withdrew him from school in February. School officials were unable to share additional information on Stahley’s withdraw due to the ongoing police investigation.
School officials expressed sympathy for Julianne Siller's family and friends, and offered counseling for students on Tuesday.

“The Perkiomen Valley School District was deeply saddened to learn Sunday of the death of a Spring-Ford Area High School student,” said a statement from the school district. “We extend our deepest sympathies to the families and friends of this child.”
This district also asked parents to help make children aware of the counseling.

“We encourage parents to make their children aware of these supports, and also encourage them to pay careful attention to social media outlets where young people may be sharing their feelings,” the statement said. “Parents or students who have concerns about reactions to this incident are requested to contact their child’s school for additional help.”
