Another Victory for Perkiomen Valley Field Hockey Team
The Vikings went up against the Pottstown team.

Erik Enters submitted the following information:
won today’s contest 2-0. Audree Bonavita posted her third shutout in the last four games with three saves today. PV outshot Pottstown nine to three today and outcornered the team 18 to 2.
Pottstown goalie Anika Watkins made a few stellar saves to keep Pottstown close in the contest until the second goal with six minutes left in the game.
Perk Valley’s first goal was scored at the 18:51 mark of the first half by Sarah Roos on a great dish to the top of the circle by Courtney McKay. McKay was clearly a young woman on a mission. She created havoc in the Pottstown defensive end all day long, and finally was able to beat the Pottstown goalie on a nice one-on-one move and flick the ball into an empty net for the second goal.

Becca Sangiuliano made a nice pass to set McKay up on the play. A strong performance by Milan White from Pottstown kept this game interesting throughout, as she had several deep runs into the PV circle. White will be playing lacrosse at Drexel when she graduates, but maybe the Dragons field hockey coach be looking at her, as well!
PV moves to 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the PAC-10.
