Arrests Made in String of Skippack Burglaries

Four local men were accused; one is currently in county jail.

Four men are facing burglary and related charges in connection with five residential burglaries and an attempted break-in at , according to a report.

In addition to other charges, police said Ryan Stephens, 19, of Skippack, is charged with three counts of burglary; David Burke, 19, of Schwenksville, is charged with five counts of burglary; Christopher Park, 20, of Lederach, is charged with three counts of burglary; and Mark Taus, 19, of Norristown, is charged with one count of burglary.

Charges were filed in , police said.

According to reports, Burke, Park and Taus remain out of jail on unsecured bail. Stephens is currently being held at Montgomery County Correctional Facility; his bail is set at $200,000.

The Skippack burglaries took place between March 29 and April 19 in the 4100 block of Arthur Trail, , the 700 block of Jamestown Road, and the , the report states.

The Pennsylvania State Police credit Upper and Lower Providence Township police departments for assisting the investigation.
