Bomb Threat Closes Upper Perk Middle School

The school was declared safe after a thorough search.

 

Upper Perkiomen Middle School was dismissed early on Friday after a possible bomb threat was discovered on a bathroom wall, according to the Upper Perkiomen School District website.

The Upper Perkiomen Police Department was contacted, and state, county, and local authorities conducted a “complete and thorough” search with trained K-9s throughout the building, the release said.

The building, located at 510 Jefferson Street in East Greenville, was declared safe, and activities resumed as normal on Monday.
