Bundle Up: Code Blue Issued for the Weekend
A Code Blue is called when the temperature with the wind chill will be less than 20, Montgomery County said.

It’s going to be a cold one.
The Montgomery County Commissioners have issued a “Code Blue” declaration for the weekend, they announced Friday.
The Code Blue will be in place from 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, through 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 18.

Montgomery County issues Code Blues “when winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter.”
During Code Blue declarations, the county “provide temporary shelter, food, and clothing to those in need.”
